HIWIN UR roller linear bearing guideways for high-load applications

HIWIN UR is a new-generation roller linear bearing guideway developed for high loads, high rigidity and precise linear motion. Optimised roller geometry, patented 360° lubricant distribution and application-specific sealing systems improve load capacity, operational reliability and service life.

 What makes the HIWIN UR series different?

High-load performance depends on more than nominal load ratings. Forces must be distributed evenly between the rollers, carriage and profile rail to limit contact-pressure peaks, deformation and vibration.

Load capacity and service life

Depending on size and configuration, HIWIN specifies:

• up to 34% higher static load capacity C0;
• up to 19% higher dynamic load capacity Cdyn;
• up to 70% longer calculated service life.

The larger contact area also supports high moment load capacity, precise positioning and stable operating behaviour.

Patented 360° lubricant distribution

The patented lubricant-channel arrangement distributes lubricant to the rolling elements in different installation positions.

This is particularly valuable for guideways installed vertically, horizontally, overhead or on machine walls.

The system supports reliable lubrication, reduced lubricant consumption, simpler connection to central lubrication systems and longer maintenance intervals.

Sealing systems for different contamination levels

The available sealing configurations include:

SS – moderate contamination.
ZZX – moderate contamination and coarse particles.
SW – heavy contamination.
ZWX – heavy contamination and coarse metal chips.

Stainless-steel scrapers provide additional protection against chips and mechanical impact.
